Application: Water treatment

Our positive displacement blowers are used in varied water treatment applications.

Municipal raw sewage or industrial organic waste such as food products are aerated to feed microorganisms with the dissolved oxygen necessary to digest waste byproducts. Fine and coarse bubble aeration systems. Blowers are also used for filter flushing, grit tank cleaning, backwash operations and gas recovery. Oil-free screw compressors are ideal for deep cell aeration system to supply air at pressures ranging from 1 bar (14.5 psig) to 3.5 bar (50 psig). Positive displacement blowers and compressors permit energy optimization under variable flow conditions by means of variable frequency drives (VFDs). Typical speed turndown of 3:1 is possible, temperature permitting.
