Industry: Cement

Pneumatic conveying of raw meal, cement, kiln dust, limestone, coal powder. Installations work in pressure and vacuum mode and are stationary or portable (e.g. barges). Capability in pneumatic conveying system design.

Blowers (1000 mbar / 14.5 psig) and single stage oil-free screw compressors (3.5 bar / 50 psig) are used extensively.

The replacement of outdated sliding vane compressors (also known as rotary vane compressors, and Fuller compressors) with single stage Aerzen oil-free screw compressors reduces down-time and operating costs. Power generation:

Many cement plant generate their own coal fired power plant. Blowers are used for coal dust and fly-ash conveying and pollution control flue gas desulphurization processes (oxidation). Explosion risk requires custom solutions.
