Industry: Mining

Blowers and compressors are used in copper, nickel, gold, and diamond mines to name only a few.

Principal applications:

• Pneumatic conveying of dry bulk materials.
• Capability in pneumatic conveying system design. Blowers (1000 mbar / 14.5 psig) and single stage oil-free screw compressors (3.5 bar / 50 psig) are used extensively.
• Air supply for oxidation processes and other refining applications.
• Slurry filter drying.
• Use of high vacuum pumps in casting operations.

Many mines also operate waste water treatment facilities to decontaminate process water, and which require aeration blowers
